AstrixDOC is the perfect substitution for having a physical setup of multiple filing cabinets and it has the capability of placing all these files and documents safely onto servers to store digital copies of these files and documents. In AstrixDOC, each Cabinet has multiple Drawers/Locations, and each Drawer/Location has multiple Binders, which hold all these documents and files.
There are two main aspects of AstrixDOC: Locations and Binders. We envision folders as Locations and sub-folders as Binders in AstrixDOC. All the files that you store will be uploaded in Binders, which are allotted to different Locations. So basically, Locations are the virtual folders and the Binders are the virtual subfolders in the Locations where the files are uploaded. The Binders are quite similar to the yellow binders used in offices, where all the papers and documents are kept.
