Group Management

Make groups and assign Users to a group. Users associated to a particular group have the same rights and excess to the site. Group defines a set of margins in which users work. In all there are 3 type of groups : admin, supervisor, client. Depending on the type of privilege each user is assigned to any of the 3 groups. You can create your own custom customize your own group giving privilege to each user within that group. You can also modify the group access.

Managing group would be the first thing to do for data mangement in AstrixDOC, after configuring company name, and company details.

Creating Groups

Step 1

Log into your account and go to Admin->Manage Group.

You would get the above window giving you the options for adding new groups, editing them, or deleting them.

Step 2

To Add a new group, click on Add group button. Select the the group type : Administrator, Supervisor or Client. Each type has preselected access rights, which can be changed as desired.

You may require to create many groups, hence give them a descriptive name, as the groups can't be renamed once they are made.

Step 3

As you decide what type of group you want to make, you will see a set of check-box icons displaying the accessibility of the account. You can change the accessibility by checking or un-checking those check-boxes.

By saving your preferences, you will thus create a new Group.

Modifying Groups

After you have made your account, go to Admin->Manage Group. Select the Modify option, and make changes and save your new settings. Thus you would have modified your group.


As you select the group in the Admin->Manage Group, you can delete it by pressing the delete option.
