Snapshot / Resync

The following tutorial outlines SnapShot feature.

Existing files (uploaded files) can be changed by using SnapShot feature. You can Download files from numerous Locations/Binders to your Hard Drive, and can update them through SnapShot.

Creating a SnapShot

Step 1

You can create a Snapshot in two ways. You may create a snapshot from My Cabinet by clicking on the Camera on the right side of the search location option, or you can go to Manage Binder --> SnapShot and click on create snapshot.

Step 2

If you want to create a SnapShot from My Cabinet, first select the location/s or Binder/s or file/s you want to add in your Snapshot, and click on the SnapShot icon (next to search location option). As you click on Snapshot button, you'll create a snapshot, which is accessible in Manage Binder --> SnapShot.
If you click on the Create Snapshot button in Manage Binder --> SnapShot, you will be redirected to My Cabinet and you can create a snapshot from My Cabinet

Step 3

Created SnapShots can be downloaded to your hard drive from Manage Binder --> SnapShot by clicking on Save icon. Once you have the data on your hard drive, modify them as desired (without renaming the file names) and Re-sync them to update your files on AstrixDOC.

You can Resynchronize the files downloaded through a Snapshot by clicking on the Re-Sync icon. As you upload new files, previous files would be modified accordingly. Re-sync would work only if you change the file's data.
